Yamile Greiving, Ivybrook Academy’s school principal and owner, is a dedicated and passionate educator with over 28 years of experience in early childhood development. Throughout her career, she has served in many roles, including classroom educator and administrator, in both California and Colorado. Her deep love for working with children and making a difference in their lives is what inspired her to bring Ivybrook’s award-winning hybrid curriculum to the thriving Parker community.

Owner's Story
Ivybrook Academy began with a vision—one deeply rooted in the belief that every child deserves a space where curiosity is honored, independence is cultivated, and a lifelong love of learning is sparked. As the owner of Ivybrook Academy, my journey started long before the first classroom was built. I spent years in early childhood education, watching young learners thrive when given the right environment and guidance. But I also saw the limitations of traditional systems. I dreamed of something more: a place where Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies could meet—a school that honored each child as an individual.
When the opportunity came to open an Ivybrook Academy in my community, I knew it was the right path. I wasn’t just opening a school—I was building a legacy. Ivybrook’s blended curriculum aligned perfectly with my passion for progressive education. Its focus on small class sizes, creative exploration, and parental partnership made it stand out.
